COSTUMES

Hello, Cinderella family! Below is a list of costume needs for the upcoming show. Some characters are already completed but may need some basic items brought from home.

EVERYONE SHOULD WEAR A BASE COSTUME OF SOME SORT - We do not have individual dressing rooms for everyone, so please wear a base that you can put your costume over (such as black/tan/white tights and a black/tan/white leotard or black/tan/white pants/leggings and a black/tan tanktop, etc.)

ENSEMBLE:

-We will look through costume stock Monday with each ensemble member to find either a good start or a whole outfit. The ensemble has the most costume flexibility since they are members of the village - their costume can range from poor beggar to rich duchess! This is up to the student to decide what kind of character they would like to portray in the ensemble. Director Jen will discuss this more with them at rehearsal Monday.

-You provide shoes (plain black, tan, red, blue or purple) and base costume as mentioned above

MICE:

-SRMS provides the ears & tails

-You provide grey or black pants with a grey shirt (long sleeve, t-shirt or tank top is fine). The grey top can be decorated or stylized based on the mouse's personality!

-Paint black nose and whiskers on for performances

JESTERS:

-SRMS provides jester hats and jester "body suits" (if we cannot find ones that fit well from costume stock (we have MANY so this shouldn't be a problem) on Monday we will investigate other options!)

-You provide a pair of plain black, white or red shoes that are comfortable to dance in

TOWN CRIERS & HERALD:

-SRMS provides tunics and horns

-You provide basic black pants and undershirt and shoes to go under

NARRATORS:

-SRMS provides the white jackets

-You provide black pants or skirt (knee length or longer), black shoes, and a colored shirt based on the following: Narrators 1 & 3: Blue and white color schemes, Narrators 2 & 4: Purple & Red color schemes

GRAND DUKE:

-SRMS provides jacket with medals and other military paraphernalia

-You provide black, red, or tan pants/leggings, and plain black shoes

QUEEN:

-SRMS provides dress

-You provide shoes (plain black or red shoes)

PRINCE:

-SRMS provides jacket with medals, sash, and other military paraphernalia

-You provide khaki or black dress pants, white or red button down shirt, and dress shoes

STEP SISTERS & STEPMOTHER:

-SRMS provides dresses and nighties, you provide shoes (plain black or tan shoes)

FAIRY GODMOTHER:

-SRMS provides blue skirt, cape, wings, and wand

-You provide shoes (plain black, blue or white) and shirt (blue or white shirt that can tuck into the blue skirt

CINDERELLA:

-SRMS provides the dress that the mice make and the Stepsisters destroy

-SRMS *can* provide the first costume (dress, shirt, apron) unless you already have something from home in mind

-Big fancy Cinderella dress: A student has a dress that we might borrow, otherwise Director Jen has some other options as well

-You provide the "glass slippers" - link sent your way for ordering her correct size
