Special Note: We are still accepting feather boas to create Gertrude's giant tail. If anyone is able to help us add feather boas to the cause, please provide! All colors accepted!

Hello, Seuss Family!

Below please find rehearsal schedule for Feb. 25 - March 1 plus information about upcoming tech days:

MONDAY FEBRUARY 25 3p-5p: FULL CAST (Green Eggs & Ham Choreography)

TUESDAY FEBRUARY 26 3p-5p: GERTRUDE, BIRD GIRLS, CAT, THINGS (Amayzing Mayzie, Amayzing Gertrude Choreography - Mayzie excused for this rehearsal)

WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 27: FULL CAST (Choreography Review)

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 28: FULL CAST (Run Show + Additional Blocking/Choreo. as needed)

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 29: *No Rehearsal*

UPCOMING TECH DAYS

SUNDAY FEBRUARY 24: 1:30p-4:30p & SUNDAY MARCH 3 (Exact times TBD, likely 1:30p-4:30p again) in the SRMS auditorium.

Goals for these days:

-Finish painting the set pieces black

-Finish the sandwich board for advertising

-Suspend the birds from high above!

-Design the front steps as Seuss books

-Paint the tub

-Affix carpet to the bottom of the set pieces

-Paint the "zoomed in clover:

-Complete the clover field

-Design the "spinning plates"

-Attach the waterfall

-Attach Mayzie's nest

-Complete the Horton Circus peek show curtain

-Cut the Hunters bandanas/arm bands

-Any other projects that need your helping hands to be completed :-)

*THIS IS A MANUAL LABOR DAY - PLEASE PLAN YOUR SHOES AND CLOTHES ACCORDINGLY: Always wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting covered in paint, torn, or accidentally glued! Even if you or your student don't plan to paint, it is very possible you may still walk by a wet piece of the set and accidentally get paint on you.
